571 ईसा पूर्व 25 नवंबर को रोम के राजा सर्वियस ट्यूलियस ने इट्रस्केन्स (प्राचीन इटली में इटरुरिया निवासी, एक सामान्य भाषा और संस्कृति वाले, शहर-राज्यों का संघ बनाने वाले, टस्कनी, पश्चिमी उम्ब्रिया और उत्तरी लाजियो, पो वैली, एमिलिया-रोमाग्ना, लोम्बार्डी, दक्षिणी वेनेटो और पश्चिमी कैम्पानिया पर राज करने वाले लोग) पर अपनी पहली जीत का जश्न मनाया।

311 अलेक्जेंड्रिया, मिस्र के 17वें पोप और अलेक्जेंड्रिया के कुलपति का निधन हुआ। वे कॉप्टिक ऑर्थोडॉक्स चर्च, ईस्टर्न ऑर्थोडॉक्स चर्च और कैथोलिक चर्च द्वारा एक संत के रूप में सम्मानित व्यक्ति हुए।

902 येलु देगुआंग (चीन) लियाओ के सम्राट हुए ताइजोंग का जन्म हुआ। खितान के नेतृत्व वाले चीन के लियाओ राजवंश के ताइजोंग दूसरे सम्राट बने।

1034 स्कॉट्स के राजा मेल कोलुइम मैक सिनेडा का निधन हुआ। उनके पोते, डोनचाड, बेथोक और डंकल्ड के क्रिनान के बेटे, को उत्तराधिकार में राजा का पद प्राप्त हुआ।

1120 व्हाइट जहाज इंग्लिश चैनल में डूब गया, जिससे इंग्लैंड के हेनरी प्रथम बेटा और उत्तराधिकारी विलियम एडेलिन डूब गया।

1177 जेरूसलम के बाल्डविन चतुर्थ और चैटिलॉन के रेनाल्ड ने मॉन्टगिसार्ड की लड़ाई में सलादीन (सलाह अद-दीन यूसुफ इब्न अय्यूब, अय्यूबिद राजवंश के संस्थापक, मिस्र और सीरिया दोनों के पहले सुल्तान, जिनका अपनी शक्ति के शीर्ष पर होने के समय अय्यूबिद क्षेत्र मिस्र, सीरिया, ऊपरी मेसोपोटामिया, हेजाज, यमन और नूबिया तक राज था) को हराया।

1343 टायरानियन सागर में भूकंप के कारण आई सुनामी ने नेपल्स और समुद्री गणराज्य अमाल्फी सहित अन्य स्थानों को तबाह कर दिया।

1400 मिनखौंग प्रथम अवा (बर्मा / म्यांमार) का राजा बना।

1487 यॉर्क की एलिजाबेथ का इंग्लैंड की महारानी के पद पर ताजपोषी हुई।

1491 ग्रेनाडा की संधि के साथ स्पेन में अंतिम मूरिश गढ़ ग्रेनाडा की घेराबंदी समाप्त हुई।

1510 गोवा पर पुर्तगाली विजय अफोंसो डी अल्बुकर्क के नेतृत्व में पुर्तगाली नौसैनिकों और निजी टिमोजी के लिए काम करने वाले स्थानीय भाड़े के सैनिकों ने गोवा को बीजापुर सल्तनत से छीन लिया, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप गोवा पर 451 वर्षों तक पुर्तगाली औपनिवेशिक शासन रहा।

1562 मैड्रिड, कैस्टिले में फेलिक्स लोप डी वेगा वाई कार्पियो का जन्म हुआ। वह प्रसिद्ध स्पेनिश नाटककार, कवि और उपन्यासकार थे, जो बारोक साहित्य के स्पेनिश स्वर्ण युग (1492-1659) में एक प्रमुख व्यक्तित्व थे। स्पेन के साहित्य में लोप डी वेगा मिगुएल डी सर्वेंट्स के बाद दूसरे स्थान पर, सर्वेंट्स ने कहा कि लोप डी वेगा द फीनिक्स ऑफ विट्स (फेनिक्स डी लॉस इंजेनियोस) और मॉन्स्टर ऑफ नेचर (मॉन्स्ट्रुओ डी नेचुरलेजा) थे।

1596 कुडगेल युद्ध फिनलैंड (उस समय स्वीडन का हिस्सा) में शुरू हुआ, जब किसानों ने कुलीनों द्वारा भारी कर लगाने के खिलाफ विद्रोह किया।

1609 पैलैस डु लौवर, पेरिस, फ्रांस साम्राज्य में फ्रांस की हेनरीएटा मारिया (फ्रांसीसी में हेनरीएटा मैरी) का जन्म हुआ। 13 जून 1625 को राजा चार्ल्स प्रथम से विवाह के बाद इंग्लैंड, स्कॉटलैंड और आयरलैंड की रानी बनीं। 30 जनवरी 1649 को चार्ल्स को फाँसी दिए जाने तक पद पर रहीं। अपने पति चार्ल्स प्रथम के एक आदेश के अनुसार, उन्हें इंग्लैंड में क्वीन मैरी के नाम से जाना जाता था, लेकिन उन्हें यह नाम पसंद नहीं था और उन्होंने अपने आदेशों, पत्रों में हेनरीएट आर, हेनरीएट मैरी आर (आर का मतलब रेजिना लैटिन में रानी था) नाम से हस्ताक्षर किए।

1667 रूस के उत्तरी कॉकेसस क्षेत्र स्थित सेमाखा में आये विनाशकारी भूकंप में 80 हजार लोग मारे गये।

1716 अमेरिका में पहली बार किसी शेर को प्रदर्शनी में पेश किया गया।

1741 रूस की महारानी एलिजाबेथ ने इंपीरियल रशियन गार्डस की मदद से सैन्य कार्रवाई कर तख्ता पलट किया और सेंट पीटर्सबर्ग की सत्ता पर कब्जा किया।

1744 ऑस्ट्रिया की सेना ने पराग्वे के यहूदियों के खिलाफ जान लेवा हमले किये और लूटपाट की।

1755 स्पेन के राजा फर्डिनेंड छठे ने बीटरियो डे ला कॉम्पेनिया डी जीसस को शाही संरक्षण प्रदान किया, जिससे वर्जिन मैरी को धार्मिक संघ के रूप में जाना जाता है। ब्रिटिश सेना में भारी संख्या में भारतीय थे।

1758 ब्रिटिश सेना ने फ्रांसीसी नियंत्रण से फोर्ट ड्यूक्सने पर कब्जा कर लिया। बाद में फोर्ट पिट का निर्माण और आधुनिक पिट्सबर्ग में विकसित किया गया।

1866 ब्रिटेन शासित भारत में इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय का उद्घाटन हुआ।

1867 विश्व विख्यात आविष्कारक, खोजी और कारोबारी तथा अंतिम दिनों में परोपकारी बने अल्फ्रेड बर्नहार्ड नोबल ने डायनामाइट का पेटेंट कराया। दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा पुरस्कार इन्हीं की संपत्ति से दिया जाता है। 21 अक्टूबर 1833 को स्वीडन की राजधानी स्टाॅकहोम में जन्मे नोबल का देहावसान 10 दिसंबर 1896 को सानरेमो, इटली में हुआ। उन्होंने अपने पीछे विशाल संपत्ति छोड़ी और अपने आविष्कार डायनामाइट के सरकारों द्वारा दुरुपयोग किये जाने से दुखी नोबल ने अपनी वसियत में चिकित्सा, शांति, पत्रकारिता, साहित्य आदि के क्षेत्र में बेहतर काम करने वालों के लिए पुरस्कार दिए जाने की अपील की। नोबल पुरस्कार समिति स्टाॅकहोम में हर साल 10 दिसंबर को समारोह आयोजित कर दुनिया के सबसे बड़े पुरस्कार वितरित करती है।

1872 प्रसिद्ध भारतीय मराठी लेखक व नाटककार कृष्णजी प्रभाकर खाडिलकर का जन्म हुआ।

1879 प्रसिद्ध लेखक, शिक्षाविद और भारतीय संस्कृति के प्रचारक टीएल वासवानी का निधन।

1890 पारसी रंगमंच शैली के हिंदी नाटककारों में प्रमुख राधेश्याम कथावाचक का जन्म हुआ। 1890 में इसी दिन भारत के प्रसिद्ध भाषाविद, साहित्यकार तथा शिक्षाशास्त्री सुनीति कुमार चटर्जी का जन्म हुआ। 

1898 प्रख्यात फिल्म निर्देशक और संगीत में ध्वनि के जानकार देवकी बोस का जन्म हुआ।

1903 गुजरात के प्रमुख सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता, स्वतंत्रता सेनानी एवं कवि दूला भाया काग का जन्म सौराष्ट्र में हुआ।

1922 खूबसूरत, बोल्ड विश्व प्रसिद्ध ब्रिटिश फिल्म अभिनेत्री एवं माॅडल शेला फ्रेजर का जन्म हुआ।

1926 भारत के 21वें प्रधान न्यायाधीश और मानवाधिकार आयोग के अध्यक्ष रहे जस्टिस रंगनाथ मिश्रा का जन्म हुआ। इन्हीं के पौत्र आएसएस समर्थक दीपक मिश्रा कुछ साल पहले मुख्य न्यायाधीश रहे।

1929 विख्यात भारतीय पंजाबी लोक गायिका और गीत लेखिका, पंजाबी लोक गायन को लोकप्रिय बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देने वाली सुरेंदर कौर का लाहौर में जन्म हुआ। 

1930 जापान में एक ही दिन में भूकंप के 690 झटके रिकार्ड किये गये।

1936 जर्मनी और जापान के बीच कोमिंटन (कम्युनिस्ट इंटरनेशनल) विरोधी समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए गये।

1937 फ्रांस की राजधानी पेरिस में आयोजित बड़े और भव्य विश्व मेले का समापन हुआ।

1940 श्यामल कुमार सेन का कलकत्ता में जन्म हुआ। न्यायविद सेन इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश और पश्चिम बंगाल के राज्यपाल के राज्यपाल रहे।

1941 मध्य पूर्व में स्थित देश लेबनान को फ्रांस से आजादी मिली। 1941 में इसी दिन मशहूर मुस्लिम सूफी, लेखक, आध्यात्मिक नेता रियाद अहमद गौहर शाही का जन्म हुआ।

1945 अमेरिका की राजधानी वाशिंगटन डीसी में आये बर्फीले तूफान के कारण हुई स्कूल बस दुर्घटना में 15 बच्चों की मौत हो गई।

1948 भारत में राष्ट्रीय कैडेट कोर यानी एनसीसी की स्थापना हुई।

1949 स्वतंत्र भारत के संविधान पर संवैधानिक समिति के अध्यक्ष ने हस्ताक्षर किये तथा इसे तत्काल प्रभाव से लागू कर दिया। 25 नवंबर 1949 को संविधान सभा की अंतिम बैठक में बाबा साहब भीम राव आंबेडकर ने समापन भाषण दिया था। उल्लेखनीय है कि बाबा साहब ने उस समय जिन चुनौतियों को राष्ट्र निर्माण में बाधक करार दिया था, वह आज भी उतनी ही विकरालता के साथ देश के सामने मौजूद हैं। यह उनकी दूरदर्शिता ही थी कि वह संविधान सभा के आखिरी भाषण में आर्थिक और सामाजिक गैरबराबरी के खात्मे को राष्ट्रीय एजेंडे के रूप में सामने लाए। 

1951 अमेरिकी प्रांत अल्बामा में हुए ट्रेन दुघर्टना में 17 लोगों की मौत हुई।

1952 अगाथा क्रिस्टी का रहस्य नाटक द मूसट्रैप का मंचन राजदूत थिएटर इंग्लैंड में पहली बार किया गया। यह इतिहास में सबसे लंबे समय तक चलने वाला प्रारंभिक नाटक है।

1952 पाकिस्तान के विश्व विख्यात क्रिकेटर इमरान खान का जन्म हुआ। इन्होंने 88 टेस्ट में 3807 और 175 वनडे में 3709 रन बनाए। इनके नाम 544 विकेट भी दर्ज हैं। इमरान अब राजनीति में हैं और कुछ महीने पहले तक पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री थे। इसी दिन 1952 में जार्ज मेनाय आस्ट्रेलियन फुटबाल लीग के अध्यक्ष चुने गये।

1960 टेलीफोन की एसटीडी व्यवस्था का भारत में पहली बार कानपुर और लखनऊ के बीच प्रयोग किया गया।

1963 ग्यारहवीं और पंद्रहवीं लोकसभा के सदस्य हुए राजनीतिज्ञ अरविंद कुमार शर्मा का जन्म हुआ।

1965 अंतरिक्ष के लिए फ्रांस ने पहला सेटेलाइट प्रक्षेपित किया।

1966 जानी मानी बांग्ला फिल्म अभिनेत्री, माॅडल, गायिका और भाजपा नेत्री रूपा गांगुली का जन्म हुआ।

1969 बंबई के जाने माने थिएटर कलाकार, फिल्म और टेलीविजन अभिनेता देवेन भोजानी का जन्म हुआ।

1973 यूनान यानी ग्रीस में हफ्तों से फैली अशांति के बीच सेना ने तत्कालीन राष्ट्रपति जॉर्ज पापाडोपोलोस का तख्ता पलट दिया।

1974 नेपाल में एक पुल के ढहने से लगभग 140 लोग मरे। 1974 में इसी दिन बर्मा के राजनयिक तथा संयुक्त राष्ट्र के तीसरे महासचिव यू थांट का निधन हुआ।

1975 प्रसिद्ध बाॅलीवुड फिल्म निर्माता-निर्देशक और पटकथा लेखक चंदूलाल शाह का निधन हुआ। इसी दिन सूरीनाम आजाद हुआ।

1978 मीडिया कंपनी इंडिया टुडे के मालिक अरुण पुरी की बेटी, खूबसूरत, बोल्ड अभिनेत्री तथा माॅडल, निर्मात्री एवं टेलीविजन, रियलिटी शो प्रस्तोता कोयल पुरी का जन्म दिल्ली में हुआ। इसी दिन बहुचर्चित फिल्म अभिनेत्री, डांसर, टीवी शो प्रस्तोता और माॅडल राखी सावंत का जन्म हुआ। 1978 में इसी दिन सैतामा, जापान में युमिको शाइना का जन्म हुआ जिन्हें उनके स्टेज नाम रिंगो शीना से जाना जाता है। शीना विश्व प्रसिद्ध जापानी गायिका, गीतकार और संगीतकार हैं। वह टोक्यो जिहेन बैंड की संस्थापक और प्रमुख गायिका भी हैं। वह खुद को शिंजुकु-केई जिसाकु-जिएन-या बताती है। 2003 में एचएमवी द्वारा संकलित जापान के शीर्ष 100 संगीतकारों की सूची में उन्हें 36वें स्थान पर रखा गया था।

1981 हिंदी फिल्मों के प्रसिद्ध संगीतकार राय चंद्र बोराल का निधन हुआ। महिला अधिकार कार्यकर्ताओं ने 1981 में 25 नवंबर को लिंग आधारित हिंसा के खिलाफ दिवस मनाया। इस तारीख को डोमिनिकन गणराज्य के तीन राजनीतिक कार्यकर्ताओं मिराबल बहनों को सम्मानित करने के लिए चुना गया था, जिनकी 1960 में डोमिनिकन शासक राफेल ट्रूजिलो के आदेश पर बेरहमी से हत्या कर दी गई थी। 20 दिसंबर 1993 को, महासभा ने संकल्प 48/104 के माध्यम से महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन पर घोषणा को अपनाया, जिससे दुनिया भर में महिलाओं और लड़कियों के खिलाफ हिंसा को खत्म करने का मार्ग प्रशस्त हुआ। 7 फरवरी 2000 को, महासभा ने प्रस्ताव 54/134 को अपनाया, जिसमें आधिकारिक तौर पर 25 नवंबर को महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस के रूप में नामित किया गया और ऐसा करते हुए, सरकारों, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगठनों के साथ-साथ गैर सरकारी संगठनों को एक साथ शामिल होने और संगठित होने के लिए आमंत्रित किया गया। तब से महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा के उन्मूलन के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस जाता है।

1982 जानी मानी भारतीय महिला क्रिकेटर झूलन गोस्वामी का जन्म हुआ।

1984 महाराष्ट्र के प्रभावशाली कांग्रेस नेता एवं प्रथम मुख्यमंत्री यशवंतराव चव्हाण का निधन हुआ।

1987 परमवीर चक्र सम्मानित भारतीय सैनिक मेजर रामास्वामी परमेस्वरन का निधन हुआ।

1988 बैंकों का करीब 9000 करोड़ मारकर ब्रिटेन भाग गये भाजपा के राज्यसभा सदस्य, बड़े कारोबारी विजय माल्या की कंपनी किंगफिशर की कैलेंडर गर्ल, फेमिना मिस इंडिया इंटरनेशनल और जानी मानी खूबसूरत, बोल्ड माॅडल, रियलिटी, टीवी शो स्टार रोचेल राव का जन्म चेन्नई में हुआ।

1990 खूबसूरत, बोल्ड, जानी मानी पंजाबी फिल्म एवं टेलीविजन अभिनेत्री तथा माॅडल नीतू सिंह का जन्म हुआ। इसी दिन भारत के एक मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त हुए आरवीएस पेरी शास्त्री का देहावसान हुआ।

1998 पाकिस्तान ने अंधेरे में भी प्रहार कर सकने में सक्षम नव विकसित टैंक-भेदी प्रक्षेपास्त्र का सफल परीक्षण किया।

2001 पाकिस्तान की प्रधानमंत्री बेनजीर भुट्टो ने नई दिल्ली में प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी से मुलाकात की।

2002 लुसियो गुटेरेज इक्वाडोर के राष्ट्रपति निर्वाचित हुए।

2004 पाकिस्तान के राष्ट्रपति जनरल परवेज मुशर्रफ के कश्मीर फार्मूले को पाक-कश्मीर समिति ने खारिज किया।

2005 यूरोपीय आयोग ने बैंक ऑफ इटली और उसके राष्ट्रपति एंटोनियो फाजियो के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू की, जिन्होंने कथित तौर पर बंका एंटोवेनेटा को हासिल करने की दौड़ में इतालवी बैंक बंका पॉपोलारे इटालियाना का पक्ष लिया। इस प्रकार डच समूह एबीएन एमरो को दंडित किया।

2006 कोलंबो द्वारा भारतीय पंचायती मॉडल का अध्ययन प्रारंभ किया गया।

2007 पाकिस्तान में आम चुनाव के लिए पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री बेनजीर भुट्टो ने लरकाना से अपना पर्चा दाखिल किया।

2008 योजना आयोग के उपाध्यक्ष मोंटेक सिंह अहलूबालिया ने वैश्विक मंदी के बावजूद भारत की विकास दर 9 फीसदी रहने की सम्भावना व्यक्त की। हिंदू चरमपंथी साध्वी प्रज्ञा ठाकुर, लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल पुरोहित व मालेगाँव के अन्य आरोपियों द्वारा एटीएस पर लगाये गये शारीरिक व मानसिक प्रताड़ना के आरोपों के मद्देनजर माकोका अदालत ने महाराष्ट्र सरकार से जबाव मांगा। छत्तीसगढ़ के बस्तर जिले में कथित तौर पर नक्सलियों द्वारा जिला पुलिस जवानो को निशाना बनाकर किये गये बारूदी सुरंग हमले में 7 जवान मारे गये।

2008 उत्तरी श्रीलंका में आए चक्रवात निशा 15 लोगों की मौत हो गई और 90,000 अन्य लोग विस्थापित हो गए, बहुत कुछ तबाह हुआ और इस क्षेत्र में नौ दशकों में सबसे अधिक वर्षा हुई।

2009 हज यात्रा के दौरान जबरदस्त बारिश से सऊदी अरब का जेद्दा शहर और तमाम क्षेत्र जलमग्न हुआ जिसमें 3000 कारें बह गईं और 122 लोग मूसलाधार बारिश में मारे गए, जबकि 350 अन्य लापता हो गए।

2012 नाइजीरिया में एक चर्च के पास दो कार बम धमाकों में 11 की मौत, 30 घायल हुए।

2013 इराक की राजधानी बगदाद के एक कैफे में हुए धमाके में 17 मरे, 37 घायल हुए।

2014 भारत की प्रसिद्ध कथक नृत्यांगना सितारा देवी का निधन हुआ।

2016 विश्व के प्रभावशाली नेताओं में से एक क्यूबा के वामपंथी राजनेता, लेखक, पत्रकार, चिंतक, प्रखर वक्ता, संगठनकर्ता, प्रशासक फिदेल कास्त्रो रुज का 90 वर्ष की आयु में निधन हुआ। कास्त्रो को लैटिन अमेरिका में कम्युनिस्ट क्रांति के प्रतीक के रूप में जाना जाता है।

2018 यूरोपीय यूनियन के नेताओं ने ब्रिटेन के यूरोपियन यूनियन छोड़ने पर हामी भरी।

2019 लूई विटॉन कंपनी ने प्रसिद्ध आभूषण कंपनी टिफनी एंड कंपनी को 16 अरब अमेरिकी डॉलर में खरीदा।

2020 गुजरात में भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस के प्रभावशाली नेता हुए अहमद पटेल का इंतकाल हुआ। इसी दिन डिएगो अरमांडो माराडोना का निधन हुआ। माराडोना अर्जेंटीना के विश्व प्रसिद्ध पेशेवर फुटबॉल खिलाड़ी और खेल प्रबंधक थे। वे व्यापक रूप से महानतम खिलाड़ियों में से एक माने जाने वाले, फीफा प्लेयर ऑफ द 20वीं सेंचुरी पुरस्कार के दो संयुक्त विजेताओं में से एक थे।

2021 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अपराध पुलिस संगठन इंटरपोल ने इस्तांबुल में हुई वार्षिक आमसभा में संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के कुख्यात मानव अधिकार हननकर्ता अधिकारी को अपना अध्यक्ष चुना। इंटरपोल ने संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के गृह मंत्रालय में महानिरीक्षक मेजर जनरल अहमद नसीर अल रायसी को 4 साल साल के लिए अध्यक्ष चुना है। उल्लेखनीय है कि मेजर जनरल रायसी पर मानवाधिकार समूह यूएई में मनमाने तरीके से लोगों को हिरासत में रखने और यातनाएं देने के आरोप लगाते रहे हैं। मालूम हो कि इंटरपोल के अध्यक्ष के चुनाव पर करीब से नजर रखी जा रही थी, क्योंकि संगठन के पहले चीनी अध्यक्ष मेंग होंगवेई 2018 में चीन जाते वक्त रास्ते में लापता हो गए थे। तब उनका कार्यकाल पूरा नहीं हुआ था। इसके बाद पता चला कि उन्हें हिरासत में लिया गया है और उन पर रिश्वत लेने और अन्य अपराधों में शामिल होने के आरोप लगाए गए हैं। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कानून प्रवर्तन निकाय ने कहा कि ब्राजील के वालडेसी उरक्विजा को अमेरिका के लिए उपाध्यक्ष चुना गया है जबकि नाइजीरिया के गरबा बाबा उमर, अफ्रीका के लिए उपाध्यक्ष निर्वाचित हुए हैं। इंटरपोल का मुख्यालय फ्रांस के पेरिस में है जबकि इस्तांबुल, तुर्की का शहर है जहां पर इंटरपोल के अध्यक्ष पद के लिए चुनाव हुआ। यूएई में राजशाही है और वहां आलोचकों, मामूली अपराध करने वालों को भी कड़ी यातानाएं दी जाती हैं। इंदौर के एक 18 वर्षीय युवक ने ई-कॉमर्स कंपनी अमेजन.इन से कीटनाशक मंगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली थी। उसके पिता रंजीत वर्मा की अपील पर 25 नवंबर को मध्य प्रदेश के गृह मंत्री नरोत्तम मिश्रा ने पुलिस को अमेजन के अधिकारियों पर प्राथमिकी दर्ज करने और उन्हें नोटिस भेजकर पूछताछ के लिए बुलाने का निर्देश दिया। बताया गया कि स्थानीय फल विक्रेता रंजीत वर्मा अमेजन के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की गुहार लेकर पिछले 4 महीने से पुलिस और प्रशासन के दफ्तरों के चक्कर काट रहे हैं। रंजीत वर्मा का आरोप है कि अमेजन ने ग्राहक के प्रामाणिक दस्तावेजों की जांच किए बगैर उसके बेटे को जहर की गैरकानूनी रूप से कीटनाशक की आपूर्ति की, जिसे खाकर उसने आत्महत्या कर ली। वर्मा के मुताबिक कुछ लोग उनके बेटे पर 2 लाख रुपये का बकाया चुकाने का दबाव बना रहे थे, जिससे वह तनाव में चल रहा था और उसने आॅनलाइन आॅर्डर कर अमेजन से कीटनाशक हासिल किया।
