1634 रूस और पोलैंड के बीच पोलियानोव शांति समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर हुए।

1658 ब्रिटिश और फ्रांसीसी सेना ने ड्यून्स के युद्ध में स्पेन को हराया।

1775 अमेरिकी सेना की स्थापना हुई।

1777 अमेरिकी कांग्रेस ने देश के लिए 13 लाल और सफेद धारियों वाले नये झंडे का स्वरूप तय किया। 1885 से 14 जून को अमेरिका में झंडा दिवस मनाया जाता है।

1880 प्रसिद्ध भारतीय वैज्ञानिक सतीश चंद्र दासगुप्ता का जन्म हुआ। इसी दिन जर्मनी का सबसे बड़ा कोलोन कैथेड्रल का निर्माण प्रारंभ होने के 632 वर्ष बाद बनकर पूरी तरह 14 जून 1880 को तैयार हुआ।

1856 बरेलवी मुस्लिम समुदाय के धर्म गुरु, विद्वान आला हजरत यानी अहमद रज़ा खान बरेलवी का जन्म बरेली में हुआ।

1864 जर्मन मनोविज्ञानी एलियोस अलजाइमर का जन्म हुआ। इन्होंने अलजाइमर बीमारी का पहली बार पता लगाया, इसीलिए इस बीमारी को अलजाइमर नाम दिया गया।

1900 प्रसिद्ध भारतीय मलयालम निबंधकार और साहित्यिक आलोचक कुट्टीकृष्ण मारार का जन्म हुआ।

1901 पहली बार गोल्फ प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन अमेरिका में हुआ।

1907 महिलाओं को नॉर्वे में मतदान का अधिकार मिला।

1920 प्रसिद्ध जर्मन दार्शनिक एवं इतिहासकार मैक्स वेबर का निधन हुआ। इसी दिन विख्यात भारतीय फिल्म अभिनेता, पटकथा लेखक एवं फिल्म निर्माता भारत भूषण का जन्म हुआ।

1922 अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति वारेन जी. हार्डिंग ने रेडियो पर अपना पहला भाषण दिया।

1922 मुगले-आज़म जैसी तमाम कालजयी और लोकप्रिय फिल्में देने वाले भारतीय फिल्म निर्देशक, फिल्म निर्माता तथा पटकथा लेखक के. आसिफ यानी आसिफ करीम का जन्म उत्तर प्रदेश के इटावा जिले में हुआ।

1928 क्यूबा में 1959 में हुई समाजवादी क्रांति में अहम योगदान देने वाले और लैटिन अमेरिकी देशों कांगो, बोलीविया इत्यादि में समाजवादी आंदोलन को बढ़ावा देने वाले अर्जेंटीना के क्रांतिकारी नेता, गुरिल्ला नेता, संगठनकर्ता, लेखक, सेना सिद्धांतकार, फिजीशियन अर्नेस्टो चेग्वेरा का जन्म अर्जेंटीना के रोसारिओ में हुआ।

1934 ऑस्ट्रिया की राजधानी वियना में हिटलर और बेनिटो मुसोलिनी की मुलाकात हुई।

1936 भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस पार्टी के प्रसिद्ध सिख राजनीतिज्ञ, केंद्र सरकार में महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर रहे मनोहर सिंह गिल का जन्म हुआ।

1940 दूसरे विश्व युद्ध में पश्चिमी यूरोप पर करीब एक महीने तक जर्मन तानाशाह हिटलर के नेतृत्व में हवाई हमले किए गए। इसके बाद जर्मन सेना फ्रांस की राजधानी पेरिस में दाखिल हुई। इसी दिन हिटलर प्रशासन ने विजित देश पोलैंड के क्रैकोव में यातना शिविर खोला, जहां लाखों लोगों को घोर अमानवीय जेल, बर्बतम यातनाएं और हत्याएं की गईं।

1945 भारत के शीर्ष राजनीतिक नेताओं से वायसराय लार्ड वावेल ने मिलने की इच्छा जाहिर की। इस दौरान जेल में बंद नेताओं को रिहा किया गया।

1946 अमेरिका के अमीर कारोबारी और बहुविवादित, बहुचर्चित 45वें राष्ट्रपति हुए डोनाल्ड जाॅन ट्रंप का जन्म जमैका हाॅस्पिटल मेडिकल सेंटर, न्यू यार्क में हुआ। फिलहाल वे कई मुकदमों का सामना कर रहे हैं।

1947 कांग्रेस कार्य समिति ने भारत विभाजन के लिए माउंटबेटन योजना का प्रस्ताव स्वीकृति को अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस समिति के समक्ष रखा।

1949 वियतनाम राष्ट्र का गठन हुआ।

1955 टीवी टॉक शो प्रस्तोता और अभिनेत्री किरण खेर का जन्म हुआ।

1958 सोवियत संघ की सरकार ने प्रख्यात भारतीय वैज्ञानिक, गणितज्ञ डॉ सी.वी. रमन को क्रेमलिन, मास्को में लेनिन शांति पुरस्कार प्रदान किया।

1961 प्रसिद्ध भारतीय भौतिकी विज्ञानी कार्यमाणिवकम श्रीनिवास कृष्णन का निधन हुआ।

1962 पेरिस में यूरोपीयन अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन की स्थापना की गई।

1967 आदित्य बिड़ला समूह के भारतीय उद्योगपति और अध्यक्ष कुमार मंगलम बिड़ला का जन्म हुआ। इसी दिन पंजाबी गायक सरबजीत चीमा का जन्म हुआ।

1968 महाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेना के संस्थापक और अध्यक्ष राज ठाकरे का जन्म हुआ।

1969 जर्मनी की विश्व प्रसिद्ध टेनिस स्टार स्टेफी ग्राफ का जन्म हुआ। उन्होंने करियर में 22 ग्रैंडस्लम जीते।

1970 तेलंगाना विधान सभा सदस्य, जाने माने मुस्लिम राजनीज्ञ और आल इंडिया मजलिस-ए-इत्तेहादुल मुस्लमीन के नेता अकबरुद्दीन ओवैसी का जन्म हैदराबाद में हुआ।

1974 जाने माने भारतीय फिल्म अभिनेता, संगीतज्ञ, पटकथाकार, वीजे और मनोरंजन जगत से जुड़ी तमाम गतिविधियों में संलग्न ल्यूक केन्नी का जन्म कलकत्ता में हुआ।

1980 अर्जेंटीना के सैनिकों ने ब्रिटिश सेना के समक्ष फोकलैंड द्वीप में आत्मसमर्पण किया।

1986 दक्षिण भारतीय सिनेमा की जानी मानी अभिनेत्री और माॅडल बिंदु माधवी का जन्म हुआ।

1989 जाने माने गायक जुबिन नौटियाल का जन्म देहरादून में हुआ।

1992 तमिल फिल्मों की जानी मानी, खूबसूरत अभिनेत्री, भरतनाट्यम नर्तकी और माॅडल शीला राजकुमार का जन्म जयनकोंडम में हुआ।

1999 थांबो म्बेकी दक्षिण अफ्रीका के राष्ट्रपति निर्वाचित हुए।

2001 चीन, रूस, कजाकिस्तान, किर्गिस्तान, ताजिकिस्तान और उजबेकिस्तान ने संघाई सहयोग संगठन (एससीओ) बनाया। इसी दिन जांच आयोग ने 1 जून 2001 को नेपाल के राजा नरेश वीरेंद्र विक्रम शाह देव और उनके परिवार की हत्या का दोष दिवंगत नरेश वीरेंद्र विक्रम शाह के बेटे राजकुमार दीपेंद्र पर मढ़ा।

2004 पंचशील सिद्धांत की 50वीं वर्षगांठ पर चीन की राजधानी बीजिंग में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सेमिनार का आयोजन हुआ। इसी दिन रक्त समूहों की पहचान करने वाले के जन्मदिन पर दुनिया भर में विश्व रक्तदाता दिवस मनाया जाता है। विश्व रक्तदाता दिवस मनाने की शुरुआत 2004 में विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन द्वारा की गई। आस्ट्रिया में 14 जून 1868 कार्ल लैंडस्टीनर का जन्म हुआ था।

2005 विश्व विख्यात गायक, संगीतज्ञ माइकल जैक्सन को बच्चों के साथ यौन दुर्व्यवहार से जुड़े दस मामलों में बरी किया गया।

2007 चीन के गोवी रेगिस्तान में पक्षीनुमा विशाल डायनसोर के जीवाश्म मिले। इसी दिन कुर्त वॉल्डहाइम का निधन हुआ। वॉल्डहाइम संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ के चौथे महासचिव रहे।

2008 संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका में उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक 0.8 प्रतिशत बढ़ा है। वार्षिक मुद्रास्फीति की दर 5.6 प्रतिशत रही जो 17 वर्षों में सबसे अधिक हुई। यही समय अमेरिका में जबरदस्त मंदी और बेरोजगारी का था। इसी दिन भारत की केंद्र की प्रधानमंत्री डा. मनमोहन सिंह की अगुवाई वाली संयुक्त प्रगतिशील गठबंधन यूपीए सरकार ने अलग गोरखालैंड राज्य के निर्माण की संभावना को खारिज किया। राजस्थान के बाँसवाड़ा जिले में 96 मीट्रिक टन की सोने की खान का पता चला। इसी दिन चीन के उत्तरी प्रांत शांग्झी में एक कोयला खादान में विस्फोट में 27 लोग घायल हुए।

2009 पाकिस्तान ने इस्लामाबाद से तुर्की के इस्तांबुल तक अपनी पहली अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मालगाड़ी सेवा शुरू की।

2011 विख्यात रुद्रवीणा वादक असद अली खाँ का निधन हुआ।

2012 विशाखापत्तनम में भारतीय इस्पात संयंत्र में विस्फोट से 11 लोगों की मौत हो गई और 16 घायल हो गये।

2013 मिस्र ने आपातकाल की स्थिति की घोषणा की क्योंकि सुरक्षा बलों ने पूर्व राष्ट्रपति मोहम्मद मुर्सी का समर्थन करने वाले सैकड़ों प्रदर्शनकारियों को मार डाला था।

2020 जाने माने भारतीय फिल्म अभिनेता, थियेटर और टीवी कलाकार सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की मृत्यु हुई। इनकी आत्महत्या और हत्या को लेकर बहुत राजनीति हुई। लेकिन हत्या साबित न हो सकी।
