1992 जाने माने भारतीय क्रिकेटर नवदीप सैनी का जन्म करनाल हरियाणा में हुआ। इसी दिन कंप्यूटर, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी कंपनी आईबीएम ने एक हैंडहेल्ड, टचस्क्रीन मोबाइल फोन और पीडीए की शुरुआत की, जिसे पहला स्मार्टफोन माना जाता है। इसी दिन 1992 में पॉप, कंट्री पॉप, हिप हॉप, प्रायोगिक और रॉक सहित विभिन्न शैलियों की विख्यात अमेरिकी गायिका मिली साइरस का जन्म हुआ।

1996 इथियोपिया के एक अपहृत विमान का ईंधन समाप्त होने पर वो हिंद महासागर में जा गिरा. इस विमान में चालक दल सहित कुल 175 लोग सवार थे जिनमें से कम से कम 100 लोग मारे गए। इथियोपियन एयरलाइंस के लिए आज भी 23 नवंबर का दिन किसी भयावह सपने से कम नहीं है। इथियोपियन एयरलाइंस के विमान बोइंग 767 ने अदीस अबाबा से नैरोबी के लिए उड़ान भरी थी। विमान में 175 लोग सवार थे। उड़ान भरे अभी कुछ वक्त ही हुआ था कि तीन अपहर्ताओं ने विमान का अपचालन कर लिया। अपहर्ता विमान को ऑस्ट्रेलिया ले जाना चाहते थे। वे सभी ऑस्ट्रेलिया में राजनीतिक शरण की मांग कर रहे थे। इसी बीच विमान का ईंधन खत्म हो गया। खतरे को समझते हुए कैप्टन लुल आबेट ने अपहर्ताओं से मोजाम्बिक के पहले कोमोरो द्वीप की राजधानी में मोरोनी के हवाई अड्डे पर विमान उतारने की मिन्नतें भी कीं, लेकिन उन्होंने एक नहीं सुनी। पैसेंजर्स को भी ईंधन खत्म होने और एक इंजन के बंद होने की जानकारी दे दी गई। सभी लोग यह समझ गए थे कि अब उन्हें कोई नहीं बचा सकता। पायलट ने क्रैश लैंडिंग की और विमान कोमोरो द्वीप समूह से करीब 500 मीटर की दूरी पर समुद्र में जा गिरा। थोड़ी ही देर में द्वीप पर पहले से मौजूद टूरिस्ट और रहवासी घटनास्थल पर पहुंच गए। हादसे में 100 लोगों की जान जा चुकी थी। 50 से ज्यादा लोगों को विमान से सुरक्षित निकाल लिया गया। बचने वालों में दो अपहर्ता भी थे। उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। यह एयरलाइंस हाईजैक की घटना दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी घटनाओं में से एक है। इसी दिन इदरीस शाह नामक प्रसिद्ध भारतीय लेखक, विचारक और सूफी परंपरा के शिक्षक

2021 कांग्रेस ने महंगाई के मुद्दे को लेकर मंगलवार को केंद्र सरकार पर निशाना साधा और आरोप लगाया कि इस जरूरी विषय से ध्यान भटकाने के लिए सत्ता पक्ष की तरफ से तरह-तरह के मुद्दे लाए जाते हैं। पार्टी प्रवक्ता पवन खेड़ा ने संवाददाताओं से कहा, आज टमाटर और प्याज 100 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम से ज्यादा में बिक रहे हैं। टमाटर और प्याज के दाम की यह स्थिति है कि मानो रसोई घर में धारा 144 लगी हो कि आप इनको चार से ज्यादा नहीं रख सकते। कई दूसरी सब्जियों के दाम भी बढ़ चुके हैं। कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता पवन खेड़ा ने दावा किया, मोदी जी के साथ समस्या यह है कि उनको अपनी गलती का अहसास एक साल बाद होता है। फिर उस गलती को ढंकने के लिए नयी गलती करते हैं। सात साल से उनकी गलतियों का खामियाजा लोग बार-बार भुगत रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार को उपचुनावों में थोड़ा बहुत समझ में आ गया है, आने वाले चुनावों में पूरी तरह समझ में आ जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा, बड़ी-बड़ी बात करने वाले लोगों द्वारा तरह-तरह के मुद्दे सामने लाकर ध्यान भटकाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। खेड़ा ने कहा, सब्जियों के दाम, खाने के तेल के दाम और पेट्रोल-डीजल के दाम में बढ़ोतरी ही असली मुद्दे हैं। जनता महंगाई से परेशान है। हम इस जरूरी मुद्दे को उठाते रहेंगे। हमें पूरी उम्मीद है कि 2024 में जरूर बदलाव होगा।

2021 2021 पाकिस्तान ने भारत के इस दावे को निराधार बताते हुए खारिज फरवरी-2019 में हवाई झड़प के दौरान एक भारतीय पायलट ने एक पाकिस्तानी एफ-16 लड़ाकू विमान को मार गिराया था। भारत ने दावा किया था कि विंग कमांडर (अब ग्रुप कैप्टन) अभिनंदन वर्धमान ने अपने मिग-21 बाइसन लड़ाकू विमान के गिरने से पहले 27 फरवरी, 2019 को पाकिस्तान के एक एफ-16 लड़ाकू विमान को मार गिराया था। पाकिस्तान विदेश विभाग ने बताया कि पाकिस्तानी एफ-16 विमान का जायजा लेने के बाद अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विशेषज्ञों और अमेरिकी अधिकारियों ने पहले ही पुष्टि की है कि उस दिन कोई पाकिस्तानी एफ-16 नहीं मार गिराया गया था। विदेश कार्यालय ने कहा कि पायलट की रिहाई भारत की कटुता और गलत तरीके से की गयी आक्रामक कार्रवाई के बावजूद शांति की पाकिस्तान की इच्छा का प्रमाण थी।
