History of April 1 - Know about April Fool's Day and important events that happened in India and around the world in 500 years

Happy Fool's Day to our respected readers and all the people of the world. 'April Fool' Day is celebrated on 1st April all over the world, in our country it is called 'Fool's Day'. It is not clear when it started. People play pranks or pranks on each other and at the end they tell themselves that it was a joke by saying that they made April Fools. Fool's Day is also a big economic business. Brands and media companies also work to reach out to the public and sell their products. A film named April Fool has been made in India in 1964, whose song 'April Fool Banaya, Unko Gussa Aaya' is still remembered on the first of April. It is believed that April Fools started in 1582. In France, the Gregorian calendar was adopted in place of the Julian calendar. In the Julian calendar, the year began in late March or early April, roughly like the Hindu New Year.

Gregorian calendar ie January to December. The people who got to know about the calendar change late, celebrated the new year from the last week of March till 1st April and because of this many jokes were made on them. He was mocked. He was called April Fool. Put fish made of paper behind them. It was called Poison Deveril (April Fish). It was such a fish, which easily became prey. In such a situation, those people would be made fun of, who would easily become victims of mischief. Historians also associate April Fools with Hilaria (the Latin word for joy). It was celebrated by the people of the Sibyl community in ancient Rome at the end of March. In this, people used to change their appearance by making different disguises and used to make fun of each other and even the judges. It is linked to the ancient stories of Egypt. Some also say that April Fool's is related to the vernal equinox or the arrival of spring. It is believed that nature fools people by changing the seasons.

April Fools arrived in Britain in the 18th century. This became a two-day tradition in Scotland. Hunting the Gawk began with people sending pictures of the bird that symbolized the fool. The second day was Telly Day, when people were made fun of by sticking signs like Poonch or Kick Me on their backs. April Fool became popular in the media as well.
