जाने अनजाने हमसे

जो रंग अचानक खो गए

हो सके तो

उन रंगों को ढूंढ़ कर लाएं

आओ इस बार

होली फिर रंगों से मनाएं।

कुछ रंग

रंगों की खोज में निकले

वापस नहीं लौटे

घर उनकी खबर ही लौटी

कुछ रंग खूनी ऋतुओं ने निगले

कुछ रंग सरहदों पर बिखरे

कुछ रंग खेतों में तड़पते

कुछ रंगों की रूहें

अभी भी सूने घरों में तिलमिलातीं

कुछ रंगों को

अभी भी उनकी मांएं बुलातीं

ये रंग जितने भी खोए

हमारे अपने थे

इन रंगों के बिना

हमारे आंगन में

मातम है

शोक है

सन्ताप है

इन रंगों के बिना

होली रंगों की नहीं

जख्मों की बरसात है

कोशिश करें

कि कच्चे जख्मों को

फिर हंसने की कला सिखाएं

हो सके तो

उन रंगों को

ढूंढ़ कर लाएं

और होली इस बार फिर

रंगों से मनाएं।
