1095 पोप अर्बन द्वितीय ने पहले क्रूसेड (धर्मयुद्ध) का उपदेश दिया।

1795 पहले बांग्ला नाटक का मंचन हुआ।

1807 पुर्तगाल के शाही परिवार ने नेपोलियन की सेना के भय से राजधानी लिस्बन से पलायन किया।

1815 पोलैंड साम्राज्य ने संविधान अपनाया।

1881 प्रख्यात इतिहासकार एवं पुरातत्त्वविद विद्वान काशी प्रसाद जायसवाल का जन्म हुआ।

1888 प्रसिद्ध स्वतंत्रता सेनानी और लोकसभा के प्रथम अध्यक्ष गणेश वासुदेव मावलंकर का जन्म हुआ।

1895 अल्फ्रेड बर्नहार्ड नोबेल ने नोबेल पुरस्कार की स्थापना के लिए वसीयत की। यूं तो अल्फ्रेड नोबेल ने तमाम चीजों की खोज की, बनाईं या विकास किया, उनके नाम सैकड़ों पेटेंट हैं, लेकिन लोग उन्हें डाइनामाइट की वजह से ज्यादा जाना जाता है। डाइनामाइट के आविष्कार के बाद निर्माण उद्योग में इसका इतना अधिक प्रयोग होने लगा कि अल्फ्रेड को 90 जगहों पर डाइनामाइट बनाने की फैक्ट्री खोलनी पड़ीं।। 20 से ज्यादा देशों में ये फैक्ट्रियां थीं। वे लगातार एक से दूसरी फैक्ट्रियों तक जाते-आते रहते थे। इस कारण लोग उन्हें ‘यूरोप का सबसे अमीर आवारा’ कहते थे। फिर सरकारों ने युद्धों में विध्वंस के लिए डाइनामाइट का ज्यादा इस्तेमाल करना शुरु किया तो अल्फ्रेड को अपने आविष्कार पर बहुत पछतावा हुआ। प्रायश्चित स्वरूप उन्होंने अपने वसीयत में मानवता को लाभ पहुंचाने वाले लोगों को अपनी संपत्ति में से पुरस्कार देने की इच्छा जताई। 27 नवंबर 1895 को अल्फ्रेड नोबेल ने अपनी आखिरी वसीयत लिखी थी। वसीयत के आधार पर नोबेल पुरस्कारों की स्थापना हुई। 1901 में पहली बार नोबेल पुरस्कार दिए गए।

1907 प्रख्यात फिल्म अभिनेता अमिताभ बच्चन के पिता प्रसिद्ध कवि और लेखक हरिवंश राय बच्चन का जन्म हुआ।

1912 अल्बानिया ने राष्ट्रीय ध्वज अपनाया।

1915 बिटेन के बड़े अमीर और कारोबारी टिनी रोलैंड या रोलैंड वाल्टर का जन्म कलकत्ता में हुआ।

1940 मार्शल आर्ट के महानायक ब्रूस ली का जन्म हुआ।

1942 भारतीय जनता पार्टी की वरिष्ठ नेता और गोवा की राज्यपाल रहीं मृदुला सिन्हा जन्म हुआ।

1947 दुनिया भर में अपनी खास पहचान रखने वाले पर्यावरणविद कार्तिकेय साराभाई का बंबई में जन्म हुआ। इसी दिन 1947 में पेरिस में पुलिस ने कम्युनिस्ट समाचार-पत्र के कार्यालय पर कब्जा किया।

1949 मध्य प्रदेश में जबलपुर के नागरिकों ने चंदा एकत्र कर नगरपालिका प्रांगण में सुभद्रा कुमारी चैहान प्रतिमा लगवाई जिसका अनावरण प्रख्यात कवयित्री और सुभद्रा की बचपन की सहेली महादेवी वर्मा ने किया। सुभद्रा खूब लड़ी मर्दानी वह तो झांसी वाली रानी थी कविता से खासतौर पर पहचानी जाती हैं।

1050 जाने माने टेलीविजन और फिल्म चरित्र अभिनेता अनिल धवन का जन्म दिल्ली में हुआ।

1952 प्रसिद्ध भारतीय फिल्म संगीतकार एवं बप्पी लाहिड़ी का जन्म जलपाईगुड़ी में हुआ। इसी दिन भाजपा नेता और वर्तमान केंद्रीय संसदीय कार्य कोयला और खान मंत्री प्रह्लाद वेंकटेश जोशी का जन्म हुआ।

1953 अमरीका के विख्यात ड्रामा लेखक पूजीन ओ नील का की आयु में निधन हुआ।

1966 उरुग्वे ने संविधान अपनाया।

1967 फिल्म अभिनेत्री संजना कपूर का जन्म हुआ। संजना राजकपूर घराने की शशि कपूर और जेनिफर केंडल की बेटी हैं। वे पृथ्वी थिएटर की मुखिया, फिल्म निर्मात्री, निर्देशिका हैं। इसी दिन 1967 में फ्रांस के राष्ट्रपति चार्ल्स डी गॉल ने फिर दोहराया कि वह ब्रिटेन की सामूहिक बाजार की कोशिशों का विरोध करेंगे।

1973 बिहार के सीवान जिले में सत्येंद्र दुबे का जन्म हुआ। भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण में बंपर भ्रष्टाचार के बारे में प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी को उन्होंने 2003 पत्र भेजा और वह पत्र प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय से लीक हो गया इसके बाद दुबे की हत्या हो गई।

1975 गिनीज बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड्स के सह-संस्थापक रॉस मैक्विर्टर की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई थी।

1976 विख्यात मराठी उपन्यासकार, आलोचक तथा पत्रकार गजानन त्रयंबक माडखोलकर का निधन निधन हुआ।

1977 तमिलनाडु विधान सभा के सदस्य, जाने माने फिल्म अभिनेता, निर्माता, निर्देश और फिल्म कारोबारी उदयनिधि स्टालिन का जन्म चेन्नई में हुआ। इसी दिन टेलीविजन कंपनी टी-सीरीज, सुपर कैसेट इंडस्ट्री के मालिक और फिल्म, मनोरंजन कारोबारी गुलशन कुमार के बेटे जो अब इन कंपनियों के मालिक हैं और मनोरंजन कारोबारी की बड़ी हस्ती हैं, भूषण कुमार दुआ का जन्म दिल्ली में हुआ।

1978 प्रख्यात समाज सेविका लक्ष्मीबाई केलकर का निधन निधन हुआ।

1980 विख्यात ब्रिटिश अमेरिकी पत्रकार, लेखक आतिश अली तासीर का जन्म लंदन में हुआ।

1982 यासुहिरो नकासोने जापान के प्रधान मंत्री बने।

1985 जानी मानी खूबसूरत, बोल्ड टेलीविजन अभिनेत्री एवं माॅड अक्षा गोरडिया का अहमदाबाद, गुजरात में जन्म हुआ।

1986 फिल्म अभिनेत्री टीना दत्ता का जन्म। 1986 में जाने-माने भारतीय क्रिकेटर सुरेश रैना का का जन्म हुआ।

1987 जाने माने टेलीविजन और फिल्म अभिनेता तथा माॅडल गौतम गुलाटी का दिल्ली में जन्म हुआ।

1991 खूबसूरत, बोल्ड जानी मानी फिल्म अभिनेत्री और माॅडल हिमांशी खुराना का करतारपुर साहिब में जन्म हुआ। इसी दिन जानी मानी बांग्ला एवं हिंदी फिल्म, टेलीविजन अभिनेत्री और माॅडल टीना दत्ता का जन्म कोेलकाता में हुआ।

1995 वेनेजुएला जौकेलीन एग्वीलेरा मार्कानो ‘मिस वर्ल्ड’ गईं।

1999 लेबर पार्टी ने न्यूजीलैंड के आम चुनाव में गवर्निंग नेशनल पार्टी को हराया, जिससे लेबर पार्टी की हेलेन क्लार्क चुनाव में प्रधानमंत्री का पद जीतने वाली पहली महिला बनीं।

2000 फ्लोरिडा में डाले गये मतों की गिनती में जार्ज बुश 537 मतों से जीते, फ्लोरिडा में जीत के बाद अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति पद पर जार्ज डब्ल्यू बुश की विजय।

2001 हबल स्पेस टेलीस्कोप ने एक्सट्रासोलर ग्रह एचडी 209458 बी के वायुमंडल में सोडियम का पता लगाया, जो कि हमारे सौर मंडल के पहले ग्रहों का वायुमंडलीय माप है।

2002 विख्यात प्रगतिशील हिंदी कवि शिवमंगल सिंह सुमन का निधन निधन हुआ। इसी दिन बेलारूस के प्रधानमंत्री जेनेदी वी नोवित्सकी भारत यात्रा पर नयी दिल्ली आये।

2004 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय श्रम संगठन के अध्यक्ष जुआन सोमाविया भारत यात्रा पर नई दिल्ली पहुँचे।

2005 फ्रांसीसी मैक्सिलोफैशियल सर्जन बर्नार्ड डेवुचेल्लेपर ने एक जीवित मानव पर दुनिया का पहला कृत्रिम चेहरा प्रत्यारोपण किया, जिसके स्थान पर इसाबेल डिनोएरे का चेहरा आया, जिसे उसके कुत्ते ने काट लिया था।

2007 पाकिस्तान के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति परवेज मुशर्रफ ने अपने सैनिक साथियों से विदाई ली।

2008 छठा वेतन आयोग देने वाला उत्तर प्रदेश देश का पहला राज्य बना। तब राज्य में बहुजन समाज पार्टी की सरकार थी, मुख्यमंत्री थीं मायावती।

2008 भारत के 8वें प्रधानमंत्री रहे विश्वनाथ प्रताप सिंह का निधन हुआ था। 31 दिसंबर 1984 को वीपी सिंह राजीव गांधी सरकार में वित्तमंत्री थे। उन्होंने विदेशी बैंक में भारतीयों के जमा धन की जांच कराने के लिए फेयर फैक्स की मदद ली थी। इसी बीच साल 1987 में स्वीडन में बोफोर्स तोप सौदे में दलाली की खबर प्रकाशित हुई। इसमें उस समय के प्रधानमंत्री राजीव गांधी का नाम था। संसद में हंगामा हुआ। इस मुद्दे को खुद वीपी सिंह भी उठाने से पीछे नहीं हटे। नतीजा यह हुआ कि वीपी सिंह को पार्टी से निष्कासित कर दिया। बाद में वीपी सिंह और उनके साथ अन्य तमाम नेताओं ने मिलकर जनता दल का गठन किया। 1989 के लोकसभा में बीजेपी और लेफ्ट की मदद से वीपी सिंह देश के प्रधानमंत्री बने। वीपी सिंह का जन्म 26 जून 1931 को उत्तर प्रदेश के इलाहाबाद में हुआ था। 11 महीने तक वह भारत के प्रधानमंत्री रहे। 9 जून 1980 से 28 जून 1982 तक यूपी के मुख्यमंत्री रहे।

2011 भारत के प्रसिद्ध सारंगी वादक और शास्त्रीय गायक सुल्तान खान का निधन निधन हुआ।

2014 क्रिकेटर फिलिप की मौत हुई। 25 नवंबर को आस्ट्रेलिया के शहर सिडनी के क्रिकेट मैदान पर साउथ ऑस्ट्रेलिया और न्यू साउथ वेल्स के बीच मैच चल रहा था। क्रीज पर थे फिलिप और बॉलिंग कर रहे थे सीन एबॉट। एक तेज लेकिन शॉर्ट पिच गेंद सरसराती हुई आई, जो फिलिप के हैलमेट के पीछे सिर में जा लगी। वो वहीं गिर पड़े। दो दिन कोमा में रहने के बाद 27 नवंबर 2014 को सेंट विंसेंट अस्पताल में उनकी मौत हो गई।

2018 भारत के प्रसिद्ध पार्श्वगायकों में से एक मोहम्मद अजीज का निधन हुआ।

1888 Ganesh Vasudev Mavalankar, famous freedom fighter and first Speaker of Lok Sabha, was born.

1895 Alfred Bernhard Nobel made a bequest for the establishment of the Nobel Prize. Although Alfred Nobel discovered, created or developed many things, he has hundreds of patents to his name, but people are more known for his dynamite. After the invention of dynamite, it started being used so much in the construction industry that Alfred had to open dynamite factories in 90 places. These factories were in more than 20 countries. He used to go from one factory to another continuously. For this reason people used to call him 'the richest vagabond of Europe'. Then governments started using dynamite more for demolition in wars, so Alfred regretted his invention. As a form of atonement, in his will, he expressed his desire to award people from his property who have benefited humanity. Alfred Nobel wrote his last will on 27 November 1895. The Nobel Prizes were established on the basis of the will. Nobel Prizes were awarded for the first time in 1901.

1912 Albania adopts a national flag.

1915 Tiny Roland or Roland Walter, British magnate and businessman, was born in Calcutta.

1940 Bruce Lee, the legend of martial arts, was born.

1942 Mridula Sinha, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Governor of Goa, was born.

1947 Environmentalist Kartikeya Sarabhai, who has his special identity around the world, was born in Bombay. On this day in 1947, the police occupied the office of a communist newspaper in Paris.

In 1949, the citizens of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh collected donations and installed a Subhadra Kumari Chauhan statue in the municipal courtyard, which was unveiled by Mahadevi Verma, a famous poetess and Subhadra's childhood friend. 1973 Satyendra Dubey was born in Siwan district of Bihar. Dubey was killed after he sent a 2003 letter to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee about rampant corruption in the National Highways Authority of India and that letter was leaked from the Prime Minister's Office.

1975 Ross McWhirter, co-founder of the Guinness Book of Records, was shot dead.

On this day, Bhushan Kumar Dua, owner of television company T-Series, Super Cassette Industry and son of film-entertainment businessman Gulshan Kumar, who is now the owner of these companies and a big personality in the entertainment business, was born in Delhi.

It had the name of the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. There was an uproar in the Parliament. VP Singh himself did not hold back from raising this issue. The result was that VP Singh was expelled from the party. Later VP Singh and all other leaders along with him formed the Janata Dal. VP Singh became the Prime Minister of the country in 1989 Lok Sabha with the help of BJP and Left. VP Singh was born on 26 June 1931 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. He remained the Prime Minister of India for 11 months. He was the Chief Minister of UP from 9 June 1980 to 28 June 1982.

2011 India's famous Sarangi player and classical singer Sultan Khan passed away.

2014 Cricketer Philip died. On 25 November, a match was going on between South Australia and New South Wales at the cricket ground in the Australian city of Sydney. Phillip was at the crease and Sean Abbott was bowling. A sharp but short-pitched ball came whizzing by, which hit Phillip on the back of his helmet. He fell there. He died on 27 November 2014 at St Vincent's Hospital after being in a coma for two days.

2018 Mohammad Aziz, one of the famous playback singers of India, passed away.
